Swim 2: The Source

This swim is an interesting option because in the right corner it has a shallow plateau that certainly works like a fish magnet in spring. The fresh intake of water from the source in the woodland behind gives this cutting an extra bonus. A large part of the stock likes to come here to warm up in the spring sunshine. It therefore needs no explanation that a discreetly placed rig can score here. But also the tip of the large island is on the migratory route of the fish as far as open water is concerned. As everywhere on Blackberry Lake, fish can be expected at any spot on the lake because of the depths varying between 2 and 4 metres. A bit of research into clean hard spots is often successful. This swim is a bit smaller because of the gravel path behind but the vegetation creates an intimate atmosphere.
