Welcome to Blackberry Lake
Situated in the rural village of Villers en Prayères in the north of France, down in the valley of the river Aisne , a 12.5 ha stretch of water that was once an abandoned gravel mine has now been transformed into an oasis for carp anglers. Just 300 km from Antwerp in the direction of Reims, the lake can be reached comfortably from Belgium and the Netherlands. As soon as you drive onto the A26, you will notice that your holiday is actually already starting as you leave the stressful route towards Paris behind you. Our English customers will also be in front of our entrance gate within 2h30 from Calais.
Our principle is "for the carp angler, by a carp angler". Even though we are a young company, the experience must take precedence over the turnover. It will be a water where I want to fish myself. Something I will continue to do on a regular basis to shape the future of Blackberry Lake in the best possible way.
